Elda Guesthouse - Myvatn

Excellent guesthouse, there is a common kitchen. Although the toilet and showers are common, it was comfortable. Great breakfast

the rooms are cheap and bright, with a dining area, a seating area and a writing desk. the atmosphere of the hotel is quiet.

The bathrooms are not very clean.

It's easy to get to the sights but all in all it's just a clean dorm. And not cheap.

Basically, a typical guesthouse, nothing special. I liked the staff, the Polish guys were solving the problem of non-working stove at night for us. I couldn't fix it, but they let me cook in a different building. Thank you!

Cozy spot despite a few quirks

So we spent two nights here and it was pretty cozy overall. Showers were fab but, man, the doors were way too noisy! You could hear every key turn and slam. On the bright side, we loved the picnic area outside! Just make sure to keep your key handy or you're stuck outside your room.

a large hostel (several buildings), located near the sights of Mivatna. an equipped kitchen. it was clean in the shared bathrooms. Large parking nearby.

Breakfast is expensive, it is better to buy something in a supermarket, as breakfast is only cold (e.g. sandwiches).

Liked the place, had a fairly nice stay for one night. The staff was very-very nice and pleasant and responsive to requests. We had a king room and it included tea/coffee making equipment, a work desk and a dining area. Everything was simply great.

A well-stocked general kitchen, a sufficient number of showers and toilets, there were never lines, although there were a lot of people. Very good location, a lot of sights in the area, friendly staff.

It's a pretty simple room, but it's clean.

I loved the fabulous access to walking routes and nearby attractions like the Grjotagja Cave, just a few steps away, and the beautiful Myvatn Nature Baths a short drive from the guesthouse. The shared kitchen facilities created a cozy atmosphere where I got to meet fellow travelers, which I really appreciated .

Good breakfast, excellent location 2 minutes from the thermal pool and lake view. Very clean. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need

Nicely decorated hotel located in a decent area just next door to supermarket, the main attractions of Lake Myvatn, and other facilities on the island. Tidy and bright rooms with private bathrooms.

Awesome breakfast and very clean, but WiFi was slow at times.
